Before starting any treatment pathway, book an initial consultation with Dr Munroe to review your current aesthetic and skin journey and plan your future aspirations. Held at our Chelsea, London clinic, this session lays the groundwork for treatments such as Polynucleotides, Sculptra, Profhilo, dermal fillers, and anti-wrinkle injections, tailored specifically to you.

  • Every new client begins with a 30-minute 1:1 consultation with Dr Munroe, combining professional analysis and photography with an honest conversation about your aesthetic goals and current skincare routine. From there, we build a personalised plan, covering medical-grade skincare, supplements, lifestyle adjustments, and treatment options, using professional insight and evidence-based approaches tailored specifically to you.

  • Consultation at Dr Munroe goes beyond a single treatment plan. As part of our concierge approach, we're happy to talk more broadly about longevity and wellness too, from lifestyle and supplements to where future interventions might fit, even though this isn't a dedicated service in its own right yet. Think of it as an ongoing conversation we can pick up at every visit, not a one-off box to tick.

  • If your booked treatment plan aligns with the consultation, you have the option to proceed with same-day treatments. You’d rather pop home and think it over? Not a problem - you can book back in another time.

  • Injectable treatments are unsuitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding, since manufacturers haven't tested and won't test their products on these groups. We can still chat and formulate a plan for the future though. A few other medical considerations are covered in our extensive health check at consultation.

  • The consultation costs £50, fully redeemable against any treatment you book. You can choose to have your treatment on the same day, if suitable, or schedule for a future date that works best for you.

Botulinum toxin, most commonly known as Botox, is a wrinkle-relaxing neurotoxin treatment designed to rejuvenate your appearance by targeting a combination of small and large areas. At Dr Munroe, we use Bocouture, a high-purity and very stable botulinum toxin formulation, to relax facial muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, leaving you looking naturally refreshed. Options include 'baby tox' for a subtle touch and 'men’s tox' tailored for male clients, alongside treatments for excessive sweating and jaw slimming. Results are usually reviewed at two weeks with a top-up if needed, and can often be enhanced by combining treatments such as Profhilo or dermal fillers. Before your treatment, photographs are taken to document your starting point, ensuring accurate results and tracked progress over time.

  • Botulinum toxin, known to most people as Botox or Bocouture, works by temporarily blocking the signals between nerves and muscles. This prevents the treated muscles from contracting, softening the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Clinical effects typically begin within 3 to 7 days, with full results by two weeks. Results generally last 3 to 4 months, after which muscle activity gradually returns.

  • Neuromodulators work at the neuromuscular junction, the point between the nerve that sends a signal and the muscle that carries it out, blocking the release of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contraction. This temporarily switches off the treated muscle, reducing the dynamic wrinkles that form with facial expression. With regular treatment, these lines may soften further as the muscle becomes less active, improving the appearance of lines at rest and reducing muscle bulk where that's the goal, such as with jaw slimming.

  • Before your treatment, avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication to reduce the chance of bruising. Photographs are taken to document your baseline. If you're concerned about discomfort, topical numbing cream is available to keep things as comfortable as possible. Afterwards, avoid intense exercise and avoid massaging the treated area for the first 24 hours. Most people return to their day as planned, but we'd ask you to avoid make-up and touching the treated area. A review 2 weeks post treatment is complementary to assess your results and top-up if required

  • During your consultation, we'll talk you through the full consent process, including potential risks such as bruising, mild swelling, or temporary drooping. We use techniques to minimise discomfort, including topical numbing cream where needed, and tailor every treatment to your specific needs with safety as the priority.

Polynucleotides, Sculptra, exosomes with microneedling, and Profhilo are advanced skin and facial treatments that work from within the skin, backed by clinical evidence rather than temporary fillers. These treatments stimulate collagen, hydrate deep layers of the skin, and restore vitality for a natural, youthful glow. Polynucleotides (Plinest), an injectable treatment also known as the "salmon sperm facial," use Mastelli's patented PN-HPT technology to activate the skin's own regenerative response. Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid biostimulator for gradual, longer-lasting collagen renewal. Exosomes with microneedling use Purasomes, containing 20 billion exosomes and growth factors, delivered through the skin via microneedling to repair and rejuvenate. Profhilo is an injectable, high-concentration hyaluronic acid skin booster.   • Profhilo is an injectable treatment that deeply hydrates the skin while stimulating collagen production, improving elasticity, texture, and firmness. Unlike dermal fillers, it doesn't add volume, instead working within the skin to revitalise its overall quality.

    How it works: Profhilo's high concentration of hyaluronic acid spreads beneath the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production by up to 20%, a bioremodelling process that helps skin regain firmness and glow.

    Schedule: two treatments spaced 4 weeks apart, with maintenance every 6 months to sustain hydration and collagen stimulation.

    Results: improvements in texture and hydration typically appear within 3 to 4 weeks, with full results by 8 weeks, lasting 6 months or longer depending on skin type and lifestyle.

  • Polynucleotides (Plinest), injectable treatments renowned for repairing and regenerating skin tissue, improve elasticity, reduce wrinkles, treat scars, and can even promote hair restoration. They're commonly known as the salmon sperm facial due to their origin in purified salmon DNA.

    How they work: polynucleotides repair damaged skin cells and stimulate new collagen formation from within, with clinical studies showing elasticity improvements of up to 38% alongside a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.

    Downtime: most PN treatments involve minimal downtime. In some areas, PNs administered by needle can cause 12 to 24 hours of mild swelling or bruising, where we can use a cannula instead to reduce this further.

    Fish allergy: as polynucleotides are derived from salmon DNA, please let us know if you have a fish allergy at consultation. This isn't necessarily a contraindication, just something we need to know.

    Schedule: three treatments spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, with maintenance every 6 to 12 months.

    Results: initial improvements can be seen from 2 to 3 weeks post-treatment, with ongoing improvement over time.

  • Exosomes with microneedling combine controlled micro-injury with cellular signalling from Purasomes to amplify skin renewal and repair beyond what microneedling alone achieves. Most commonly performed on the face or neck and décolletage, with best results following a course of 3 treatments repeated every 3 to 4 weeks.
