consultation & concierge
Before starting any treatment pathway, book an initial consultation with Dr Munroe to review your current aesthetic and skin journey and plan your future aspirations. Held at our Chelsea, London clinic, this session lays the groundwork for treatments such as Polynucleotides, Sculptra, Profhilo, dermal fillers, and anti-wrinkle injections, tailored specifically to you.
-
Every new client begins with a 30-minute 1:1 consultation with Dr Munroe, combining professional analysis and photography with an honest conversation about your aesthetic goals and current skincare routine. From there, we build a personalised plan, covering medical-grade skincare, supplements, lifestyle adjustments, and treatment options, using professional insight and evidence-based approaches tailored specifically to you.
-
Consultation at Dr Munroe goes beyond a single treatment plan. As part of our concierge approach, we're happy to talk more broadly about longevity and wellness too, from lifestyle and supplements to where future interventions might fit, even though this isn't a dedicated service in its own right yet. Think of it as an ongoing conversation we can pick up at every visit, not a one-off box to tick.
-
If your booked treatment plan aligns with the consultation, you have the option to proceed with same-day treatments. You’d rather pop home and think it over? Not a problem - you can book back in another time.
-
Injectable treatments are unsuitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding, since manufacturers haven't tested and won't test their products on these groups. We can still chat and formulate a plan for the future though. A few other medical considerations are covered in our extensive health check at consultation.
-
f this is your first aesthetic treatment, or your first with Dr Munroe, you've come to the right place. Please book a Consultation with us first, whether you're interested in Polynucleotides, Sculptra, Profhilo, Bocouture, or dermal fillers, to make sure we plan the right treatment for you.
-
The consultation costs £50, fully redeemable against any treatment you book. You can choose to have your treatment on the same day, if suitable, or schedule for a future date that works best for you.
refresh & relax
Botulinum toxin, most commonly known as Botox, is a wrinkle-relaxing neurotoxin treatment designed to rejuvenate your appearance by targeting a combination of small and large areas. At Dr Munroe, we use Bocouture, a high-purity and very stable botulinum toxin formulation, to relax facial muscles and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, leaving you looking naturally refreshed. Options include 'baby tox' for a subtle touch and 'men’s tox' tailored for male clients, alongside treatments for excessive sweating and jaw slimming. Results are usually reviewed at two weeks with a top-up if needed, and can often be enhanced by combining treatments such as Profhilo or dermal fillers. Before your treatment, photographs are taken to document your starting point, ensuring accurate results and tracked progress over time.
-
Botulinum toxin, known to most people as Botox or Bocouture, works by temporarily blocking the signals between nerves and muscles. This prevents the treated muscles from contracting, softening the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Clinical effects typically begin within 3 to 7 days, with full results by two weeks. Results generally last 3 to 4 months, after which muscle activity gradually returns.
-
Neuromodulators work at the neuromuscular junction, the point between the nerve that sends a signal and the muscle that carries it out, blocking the release of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contraction. This temporarily switches off the treated muscle, reducing the dynamic wrinkles that form with facial expression. With regular treatment, these lines may soften further as the muscle becomes less active, improving the appearance of lines at rest and reducing muscle bulk where that's the goal, such as with jaw slimming.
-
Before your treatment, avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication to reduce the chance of bruising. Photographs are taken to document your baseline. If you're concerned about discomfort, topical numbing cream is available to keep things as comfortable as possible. Afterwards, avoid intense exercise and avoid massaging the treated area for the first 24 hours. Most people return to their day as planned, but we'd ask you to avoid make-up and touching the treated area. A review 2 weeks post treatment is complementary to assess your results and top-up if required
-
During your consultation, we'll talk you through the full consent process, including potential risks such as bruising, mild swelling, or temporary drooping. We use techniques to minimise discomfort, including topical numbing cream where needed, and tailor every treatment to your specific needs with safety as the priority.
-
If this is your first aesthetic treatment or your first treatment with Dr Munroe, you’ve come to the right place. Please also book a Consultation with us to ensure the right treatment plan.

revitalise & rejuvenate
Polynucleotides, Sculptra, exosomes with microneedling, and Profhilo are advanced skin and facial treatments that work from within the skin, backed by clinical evidence rather than temporary fillers. These treatments stimulate collagen, hydrate deep layers of the skin, and restore vitality for a natural, youthful glow. Polynucleotides (Plinest), an injectable treatment also known as the "salmon sperm facial," use Mastelli's patented PN-HPT technology to activate the skin's own regenerative response. Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid biostimulator for gradual, longer-lasting collagen renewal. Exosomes with microneedling use Purasomes, containing 20 billion exosomes and growth factors, delivered through the skin via microneedling to repair and rejuvenate. Profhilo is an injectable, high-concentration hyaluronic acid skin booster. Available at our Chelsea, London clinic, a course of treatments is usually advised for optimal results, and outcomes can often be enhanced further by combining treatments together, all tailored to your skin's individual needs.
-
Profhilo is an injectable treatment that deeply hydrates the skin while stimulating collagen production, improving elasticity, texture, and firmness. Unlike dermal fillers, it doesn't add volume, instead working within the skin to revitalise its overall quality.
How it works: Profhilo's high concentration of hyaluronic acid spreads beneath the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production by up to 20%, a bioremodelling process that helps skin regain firmness and glow.
Schedule: two treatments spaced 4 weeks apart, with maintenance every 6 months to sustain hydration and collagen stimulation.
Results: improvements in texture and hydration typically appear within 3 to 4 weeks, with full results by 8 weeks, lasting 6 months or longer depending on skin type and lifestyle.
-
Polynucleotides (Plinest), injectable treatments renowned for repairing and regenerating skin tissue, improve elasticity, reduce wrinkles, treat scars, and can even promote hair restoration. They're commonly known as the salmon sperm facial due to their origin in purified salmon DNA.
How they work: polynucleotides repair damaged skin cells and stimulate new collagen formation from within, with clinical studies showing elasticity improvements of up to 38% alongside a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
Downtime: most PN treatments involve minimal downtime. In some areas, PNs administered by needle can cause 12 to 24 hours of mild swelling or bruising, where we can use a cannula instead to reduce this further.
Fish allergy: as polynucleotides are derived from salmon DNA, please let us know if you have a fish allergy at consultation. This isn't necessarily a contraindication, just something we need to know.
Schedule: three treatments spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, with maintenance every 6 to 12 months.
Results: initial improvements can be seen from 2 to 3 weeks post-treatment, with ongoing improvement over time.
-
Exosomes with microneedling combine controlled micro-injury with cellular signalling from Purasomes to amplify skin renewal and repair beyond what microneedling alone achieves. Most commonly performed on the face or neck and décolletage, with best results following a course of 3 treatments repeated every 3 to 4 weeks. Microneedling alone often has 24-48 hours of redness post treatment, but the use of exosomes also dramatically reduces this recovery time.
-
Sculptra is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid biostimulator, working differently from Profhilo and Polynucleotides by gradually prompting your body to rebuild its own collagen over time rather than delivering an immediate effect.
How it works: once injected with a cannula, poly-L-lactic acid microparticles stimulate fibroblasts to produce new collagen gradually, so results build progressively rather than appearing overnight.
Schedule: typically given as one vial per session, with a course of three sessions spaced around 4 to 6 weeks apart for most people, depending on the degree of volume loss.
Results: visible improvement usually builds over 2 to 3 months as collagen accumulates, with results lasting significantly longer than traditional dermal filler.
-
A tailored approach to refreshing the eye area, combining neurotoxin (Bocouture), polynucleotides, and exosomes, with dermal filler used conservatively where appropriate. Addressing skin quality, fine lines, and structural support together, this personalised plan delivers subtle, natural-looking rejuvenation based on your individual anatomy and goals.
-
Before treatment: avoid alcohol, aspirin, and anti-inflammatory medication for 48 hours prior, and keep your skin well hydrated with a consistent skincare routine.
After treatment: avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, or hot baths for 24 hours, avoid touching or massaging the treated area for the first day, and expect any mild swelling or redness to settle within a few hours. (Longer with microneedling)
-

reharmonise & restore
Hyaluronic acid facial fillers, using Teoxane's Resilient Hyaluronic Acid (RHA) technology, are specifically chosen to replenish or build volume, creating balanced, harmonious facial features. From non-surgical rhinoplasty and lip enhancement to tear trough correction and jawline definition, our treatments aim to restore lost volume or add subtle definition, symmetrising your natural beauty. Results are immediate and continue to improve over the following weeks, and outcomes can often be enhanced further by combining fillers with skin boosters such as Polynucleotides or Profhilo.
-
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers are injected beneath the skin to restore volume and smooth wrinkles. HA occurs naturally in the body, making these fillers highly biocompatible and effective for natural-looking results. On injection, filler adds instant volume while stimulating collagen production to support skin quality over the longer term.
-
At Dr Munroe, we exclusively use Teoxane fillers for their quality, resilience, and adaptability to facial movement. Teoxane's patented Resilient Hyaluronic Acid (RHA) technology offers:
Natural integration: designed to sit naturally in mobile areas like the lips, mouth, and cheeks
Durability and flexibility: retains elasticity in areas of frequent movement, lasting up to 18 months depending on the area treated and individual factors
Safety and effectiveness: backed by clinical trials, with a 98% satisfaction rate in post-treatment surveys
-
Your treatment begins with an in-depth consultation to discuss your goals and assess your facial structure. We take before and after photographs, talk through the full consent process including risks and recovery, and apply topical numbing cream for your comfort. Treatment usually takes 30 to 45 minutes depending on the areas treated. Results are immediate and continue to improve over the following 1 to 2 weeks.
If this is your first ever treatment, or your first with us, please also book a Consultation so we can plan the right treatment for your goals.
-
Before treatment: avoid alcohol, aspirin, and blood-thinning medication for 48 hours prior to reduce the risk of bruising.
After treatment: avoid strenuous activity, saunas, or extreme heat for 24 to 48 hours. Mild swelling or bruising is normal and usually settles within a few days.
Risks: hyaluronic acid fillers are generally safe and well tolerated, but as with any medical procedure there are potential risks, including temporary swelling, bruising, redness, or discomfort at the injection site. Rare but more serious complications include infection, asymmetry, or vascular occlusion (blockage of a blood vessel). We go through the full consent process at consultation so you're fully informed and these risks are managed appropriately.

recover & regrow
Polynucleotides (Plinest) and exosomes with microneedling (Purasomes) are regenerative treatments that work at the level of the scalp and hair follicle, biostimulating growth and improving hair and scalp health. Paired with evidence-based homecare guidance, these treatments focus on both encouraging regrowth and preserving the hair you already have.
-
Hair thinning has many causes, including genetic (androgenic) hair loss, telogen effluvium (sudden shedding after stress, illness, or childbirth), and nutritional deficiencies such as low ferritin, vitamin D, or thyroid imbalance. Identifying the underlying cause makes treatment far more effective, which is why baseline bloods are recommended before starting any in-clinic treatment or supplement.
-
Plinest Hair is an injectable treatment using Mastelli's PN HPT (Polynucleotides Highly Purified Technology) to biostimulate the scalp, improve follicle health, and promote regrowth. In manufacturer-reported clinical data, over 72% of treated women showed an objective improvement in alopecia, with no reported side effects. Suitable for androgenic alopecia, hormonal hair loss, thinning hair, and eyebrow restoration.
-
Purasomes HSC50+ combines 20 billion exosomes from ethically sourced bovine colostrum with 20 growth factors, vitamins, and amino acids, delivered via microneedling directly to the scalp for maximum follicle stimulation. Suitable for thinning hair, hair regrowth, and preventive scalp health.
-
Before investing in any hair treatment or supplement, we'd advise baseline bloods, ferritin, vitamin D, thyroid function, B12, and zinc, since biochemical deficiency is one of the most common and most correctable causes of hair loss. This is especially relevant if you're post-partum or breastfeeding. Your GP can arrange these, or Dr Munroe can organise them at a convenient facility and review the results with you. For the full detail on this, see the Hair Health & Recovery guide on Journal Club.
-
Avoid washing your hair for 24 hours after treatment, and steer clear of harsh chemical processes or tight hairstyles in the days either side. Results build gradually. Polynucleotide treatments are typically spaced around 2-3 weeks apart across a course of three, and exosome treatments every 3-4 weeks across a course of six, with visible improvement usually seen after the third session.
-
To embark on your hair restoration journey, schedule a Consultation with us to ensure the right treatment plan, particularly if baseline bloods haven't been done yet.
Polynucleotide hair restoration (Plinest): £395 for one treatment or £995 for a course of three (up to six treatments recommended)
Exosomes with microneedling, hair (Purasomes, course of 6): £475 for one treatment or £1295 for a course of three
